funny how time changes things.

there i have been,
over the past,
god knows how long,
raving about stickie,
and now?

it seems so un-important.

we spoke this morning.
quite casual.
it's cool.

i really DO like her.

i don't think i'd know how tbh.

really though;
i would think that she is late 50s.
possibly early 60s.

and even if unattached,
very content.

i think that maybe,
at first,
she felt flattered by my attention and obvious desire to get on speaking-terms.
but then there was that period of "okay,now what?"

and i didn't follow-through so to speak.

which might have left her to reach her own conclusion,
if indeed she gave it any thought at all.

so now,
we say hello,
and sometimes i'll get some conversation going,
which she doesn't seem to mind,
and life trundles pleasantly on.

sort of.
