Them Golden Postboxes

Spent the afternoon yesterday in a restaurant overlooking one of those gold painted Olympic postboxes, we seem to have a few here in Yorkshire.

Can't believe the number of people that were having there photo taken next to it. I wish I had a quid for each one it would have paid our bill easy.

People just take photos of owt these days. I bet they wouldn't if they had to buy film and then get the cunt developed like in the old days.

Madness!!

Sheer rarity value, BOAT. I took the kids to one in Flint because, when they found out there was one in Flint, they said "can we go to the one in Flint"? (Jade Jones, Tae Kwon Do). They wanted to drag me to Chorley for Bradley Wiggins's as well but you don't go to Chorley for a day out whereas you do the North Wales coast.

They took Union Jack Wenlocks along as well. They loved the Olympics, as positive a memory as my own of Montreal '76 and the postboxes are a cracking touch.
