Fuck me, I've never been vindicated so quickly since saying "7/1 for Michael Owen first goal against anyone is huge" and two minutes in against Portugal (Euro 2004) I'd been paid.

Only a pity that the goal came from the fact that Podolski was ineptly flattened in the right back channel and the goal came directly from the free kick and he wasn't the runner.
