i really ought to get a shave.

designer-stubble is so passe'.
and when the face is that of a wizened old cnut like me,
it really isn't nice to see.
it makes me feel,
and look,
like a bloody vagrant.
it aint pretty.
but,
i'm old,
i'm tired,
and entitled to a generous helping of tolerance imo.
so,
to society,
i raise a finger,or two.
cos i just can't be bothered.
hell!aint that what holidays are about anyway?

i've been hitting the juice,
sleeping like a log,
and got up this morning to find the mummy-cabbage asleep on the living-room floor.
there's a bit of an atmosphere right now,
i'm not speaking to her because when i do,she never responds.
the lights on but no-ones at home.
