what size sander would i need to do a floor?

just found a floor sander on ebay £2,309. 56p..ffs I could buy the house for that

Try someone like HSS, MG. They'll hire one out to you rather than buy one.

Go to Google.....Just type in 'floor sander hire' followed by the area you live in.

you can get hand sanders for less than 50 notes in b+q which might do the trick depending on the state of the floors and would be ok for a bit by bit approach

also, to make it easier for ladies, some of them are designed to look like irons

I thought they were for small projects like doors or bannisters etc

they are sanders, if you're doing it bit by bit it will do the job if you have aptience and perseverance, you could even use sandpaper and elbow grease, but it would take longer

the bigger the better as far as tradesmen are concerned as time is money
