Things that i miss about england.

Apart from family and friends, i miss a good old traditional pub. Nothing like drinking a pint of bitter and munching on packet of pork scratchings.

Do you not miss the weather Shane?, i think i would if i lived somewhere that had a rainy season instead of a crisp cold / snowy winters day.

Only time i venture into a pub nowadays is for the trad sunday roast dinner and a pint but thats all. Having said that we were in one the other week and the gents was through bar/ tap room on the otherside, noticed there were a few old blokes with the cards and cribbage boards and dominoes and i right fancied a game.......... so i can see where your coming from.

Yeah man, I also miss the old pub smell from when i was a child.

well, I've recently moved from HCMC which has a tropical climate (rainy and dry season) to Hanoi which has a subtropical climate (all 4 seasons). It still has the humidity but not as bad, plus we get nice cool winters. Still, wouldnt mind spending christmas at home for a change. Maybe next year.

and live my life out quietly,
and modestly,

i'd be happy to leave her all that i owned after i'd gone.

i'd probably tire of that pretty quick though.

having said that,
i don't think that i'd like having her knowing that she was just doing a job.

Yes, you're probably right eric. But, shes too young for you anyway. you need a maturer lady to suit your needs and wants. And theres plenty of those around.
