Jesus, Shane, if that was a big regret I'd either have to be a pointless, narcissistic shit who's never had a day's worry in my life because of an overbearing daddy and a total lack of need to make any sort of decision in my life along with a complete disregard for the feelings of everyone around me (that's Fat Kid and Trolspy covered) or I'd have to have such a desperate life that the trivial and mundane is made important through my own sense of impropriety and unrealistic reaction to minimal events with maximum drama (that's Wishee Washee covered).

If I had to change something that would mean I diverged from the path I'm on now, I'd stick. There are things I can't change that I'd like to but I manage; always have done. That pragmatic attitude actually fucks an awful lot of people up as wel l. It's like the story of the Ugsome Thing (Jesus, I read that a lifetime ago as a nipper). There are things I could have changed and given my current circumstances, no, it's OK, I'll stick.

Consequently my biggest regret would have to be something in recent weeks that I should have done and didn't which wasn't a "life decision". That bet I missed at Doncaster which would have paid for a decent holiday therefore comes high on that list. Other than that, I've stood by on some matter or other on a couple of occasions where I look back now and should have gone in with both feet. No consequence to me but I'd have possibly made a difference for others. That's hindsight, though - always 20-20
