there isn't one.
how many people?
suicide or not,
will have a comfortable death?

there are the very lucky,
very few,
who will gently drift off ,
quite painlessly,
in their sleep,
we think,
we can't know that for sure.

they're even questioning the "death by injection".
death penalty in america now,
cos maybe it isn't totally painless.
once you've had that muscle relaxant,
if you were in pain,
you couldn't let anybody know.

and as for people taking,
"the easy way out"

how easy do you think it is?
to jump;
off a bridge or building,
in front of a moving train,
or fast car.
swallow a gut full o' pills,
cut your wrists.
jump in a lake.
whatever.

can you imagine?
the fear,panic sheer terror,
of facing that unknown.
not to mention the physical pain.

maybe it'll work,
maybe it won't,
maybe some do-gooder'll ruin it.
nobody get's out easy.

most of us will experience,
those awful emotions,
when we checkout.
what a horrible life.

i've been thinking about this all day.
this not an "i want to die thread".
just thinking about.................
