bus-stop joy Empty bus-stop joy

Post  Guest Sat Dec 11, 2010 10:23 am

some time ago,
my local bus (to work) service changed,
and it went from those little green 12 seater shuttles,
to those big double-deckers.

no more shuttle,
and no more nice female bus-driver,
the one i really liked,
and seemed to get on with.

well,
last night,
my double-decker turned up,
and she was driving. cheers
my favourite female driver,
back on my work run. Smile

she had a bus-company official with her,
could have been an inspector,
couldn't have been somebody showing her the route,
i reckon she's just recently got her licence for the double-deckers.
anyway,
whatever,
she's back.

wasn't able to chat,
maybe next time.

brilliant.

And not on a bus that will kill you, Eric. The tiny shuttle things are a fucking liability, can go anywhere in a slight gust of wind whereas double deckers would fancy thir chances in a hurricane. I know bus drivers hate the little efforts and these are people who are trained to manoeuvre things the size of tankers

Always nice to know you're not in a death trap, though. I'd like to have a say in how I go
