it's cold out there

really, really fucking cold out there today and i'm not normally bothered by the cold - today is a stay indoors day from now, doors shut and heating up

Thing yourself lucky the boiler outlet is still frozen solid, so had no heating or hot water since Saturday morning. Plumber's coming later this even or maybe tomorrow to uncouple the pipe and i'll have to keep emptying a bucket up in the loft till the weather warms up.

more snow overnight, no need to go outside today, not even for the pub - do have to go to the office tomorrow though, not looking forward to that

ive had to go on a late shopping spree, spent with money i havent got, in temps below zero because kids were moaning they hadnt anything to open ( they had already seen them )
