i saw him in the film Stone, with edward norton.

i thought he looked distinguished and quite good for his age. nothing like those pics show.

i guess that's the beauty of heavy make-up, lighting and flattering camera angles.

Black and White photography is always good for showing character in older people. I reckon in colour he'd look younger.

They all died of 27, Tony. Sid Vicious was younger but the other five you listed (and Bobby Sands as well) got that far but never saw 28.

And rather than drugs, didn't Cobain die of lead posioning?
