I have watched the film hundreds of times, but still cannot say why its a better film than others .

I am with some people who say its about the death of a period/relationship and the carry over into another , I can relate to that a bit

bert, the woman on the radio today said this danny quote was at least as good as any Shakespearean clown

All that exists is a short grainy cine film shot outside the registry office by my wife's uncle that we had transferred to a video about 20 years ago.
Our original wedding pics taken by my dad's mate were lost in a house move in 1980
