and if so, perhaps a change of name would be more appropriate, something like probationers corner, reception area or cunters net

i think between us we can come up with a nice form of words that explains to newbies why they are there and how long they can expect to be there if they are genuine or not, without being too condescending, much

we could also come up with a set of questions, maybe 20, that they are expected to answer

invite a bit of chat from strangers.
lets all post on it,

The only way to get in is by recommendation or referral. If you came through from another site you can say so when you join. Everyone can have a verifiable sponsor.
