You sell Arsenal short, Tone. Yes, you'd expect them to lose but they are a footballing side and they are probably the side in Europe that Barcelona wouldn't fancy at 2-1 down starting. They're value, whether they win or not.

The 2-1 win for Arsenal was the most absurd result I've seen in 54 years of watching the game.
I also think Arsenal would win maybe once in a dozen attempts at the Camp Nou against the wonderful Barca.

Fred Hoyle once said space is a piece of piss (not a direct quote) as you only have to drive about an hour, just straight up.

A mission to space need only work once and you can monitor that intensively. A nuclear plant is a 365 day a year undertaking. One has maintenance costs and the other doesn't. They're different undertakings (as well as the space race being to a degree an extension of the Cold War). John Glenn is alleged to have said that on one mission, he suddenly realised he was about to be blown several miles high in a rocket built by the lowest bidder. I'd imagine Chernobyl was built and run on the same premise. Why train staff to manage something that is essentially self-managing? Just take the cheapest option, the framework's already in place.
