When I lived there (1949-67) it still had all the original Victorian features...ceilings, fireplaces, picture rails, outside toilet, cellar etc
It was beautiful. My dad stated to box everything in and remove fireplaces just before he sold it though.

We had Victorian sash windows, not those fuckers on it in the map pic.

I think it's great you can move the pics around whilst still on the forum.

Its a shame but at that time its was the done thing.whats worse when they do it now.
