who used to walk past my stop,
until ours eyes met one morning,
and i never saw her again:

i saw her as i boarded my bus one day this week.
she came from the opposite direction,
and a bit later than when she used to walk by.
i hope she didn't stop walking by because of me.
and she had tw0 different dogs.
oh well.
maybe she walks dogs for other people.

i do wish that we didn't have to play these guessing games.
