Other than ive been a cunt to both him and bert for allowing Frasier to join and not getting shut of missjones , not a thing PP.

I doubt he will be coming back here anytime soon and even less of a chance over on PP.

I recall him leaving about 7 times before , and he always came back after a while , no reason this time should be different.

Both Bert and Tony said missjones was letting others (fresh) use her account here. They also thought that frasier was a bogus account for another Punter Placer ....its in a thread here but cant be arsed to look for it eric

Tony, Again i'm very sorry you feel this way, i dont think bert thinks the same, as i'm still on good terms with him and i consider him a friend, infact we mused over the national yesterday via email.

If you want i can give you full admin details and you can be the master of the house, its often hard trying please folk and ive acted as a peacemaker and done my best to accommodate everybody fairly.

Just let me know if you want the details and they're all yours mate

want to preside over their own forum,
they could easily have set one up,
and canvassed it in here,
and yes,
one or two might have followed.
as with the few of us that there are,
came from PP.

i don't care who or what people seem,
nobody is bigger than any forum.

reading one of frasier's opening threads,
summing up his view of the stance that bert and tony were taking,
he seemed spot-on,
as ever.
not taking sides here.
and that seemed very much "old frasier"time thinking.

frasier has a very sharp mind,
astute powers of obvservation,
a cutting and on occasion acerbic wit.
and is not the sort of person that i'd care to pick a fight with.
he's smart,
too smart maybe.
and some people just can't take coming second.

we would like to have a membership that happily co-exist.
we would also like more members.

if the place is to grow,
and maybe it wouldn't anyway,
attitudes need to change.

All good points eric , i just wondered if Tony was getting fed up anyway and it was an excuse for him to get out.

Ive thought about having the forum open door ie no admin verification of admission and just see how it were to go, obviousy i'd have the power to remove those who just wanted to spoil it.

Ive also thought about leaving myself and letting it run as is and passing on admin details to anyone wanting to make a go of it.

could work, as long as you booted out anyone who wanted to start being a knob end.

I guess you know the general way people communicate on here , its mainly good natured and amiable , so it would be easy to spot anyone who did not fit or was trying to upset that atmosphere

yep seems about right kit. I dont expect a rush of folk but i'll remove the admin verification and see how it goes.
