Had some bad news today

My 12yo staffy bitch Molly has canine lymphoma. Its looking like a quite advanced stage 4, so there's not a lot of hope for her now. I dont want to put her through Chemo for an extra month or two of poor quality life. Been through this scenario twice before and it doesnt get any easier.

have to follow what the vet says usually, they know their stuff in my experience

Still eating small portions, her sight is failing pretty bad with this heavy glaze of bloodshot in her right eye. Doest seem to be in any pain yet just lethargic and sleepy.

sorry to hear about molly...ceilidh went downhill fast, from ok...to not being able to stand or go outside for a wee within 2 days she was 14 though

Yes She , vet said that the kidney's fail fast usually 24/48 hours

yep thats right but doesnt make it any easier...that was my first time having an animal put to sleep, fucked me up for weeks she had to be put to sleep on october 4th 2010 (animal day in the netherlands)
luckily there was nobody in the vets when i was there as i was a mess when i left, my friend cisca took me down in her car and we aint supposed to park right outside but we did, fuck it....i held ceilidh until she stopped breathing...i didnt know they twitched for ages afterwards, was really weird
