Picked on this thread as it is the most likely to cause the reason for the bloke on Gumtree on April 1 (...) who wanted to give away his ex-fiancee's ring "for reasons I don't want to disclose.  I don't want or need it any more.  I do not want any money for this ring".

As it was Gumtree, it was sandwiched between "free wooden pallets and planters" and "Sony rear projection TV".  Not the usual setting for a ring purchase.

Original link, btw, was/is defunct, I think. Not sure if it was the second photo, mind.
