Dead Birds , very odd.
This morning I did the same exercise walk that I have done most days for the last 12 months.
Often I see the odd road kill , you know, a rabbit maybe a badger , 3 or 4 occasions at most.
The walk is 4 miles long , and today an especially odd set of circumstances took place.
Initially I saw a dead pigeon on the pavement 'thats different' I said, but thought no more of it.
Then 50 yards down the road I saw another two, no shot wounds , just looked like they fell out of the sky. Another 50 yards and I saw another pigeon in its death throws , twitching . Then across the road a dead magpie.
After that , no more dead birds.
My only assumption is that perhaps a farmer had put down some poison?
