Absolutely fucking unreadable, Eric. I can count the number of books in my life I could not persevere with and the percentage out of books I have taken on would be a fraction of the thin end of one per cent. I read a lot and with the exception of that and "On The Road" by Kerouac (I honestly don't see the draw) I've never given up.

I gave up. Totally unengaging for me, and only ever caused a furore because someone has a hand shandy halfway in.

I read it when I was young, cant really remember it.
