You do strike in the game ...when you play through and spring the jack, usually when you are down and its very unlikely you can beat your opponent at that particular end ...today i was playing a lady about my age who had a bad hip and it seemed a bit unfair to smash her bowls Laughing

Spectacular when they come off as planned, Its more common in doubles matches as you have more bowls around the jack Very Happy
