anyway.
he puts the stuff in demi-johns,
and adds loads of whatever berries are available,
but not a mixter of berries,
stores for a few months,
then sieves and bottles it.
he's quite a popular chap.

my friends mother, who was quite reserved, used to make her own wine it was like nectar and didnt taste alcoholic at first ,then it kicked in

i tried wine making years ago.

left a purple stain on the living room ceiling,
of my old flat,
from making blackberry wine.
didn't taste of blackberry,
but it did a job.

the prune wine was nice though.
