i know it's all "old hat". but i dream.

of getting just so far away from my hometown.
a care-home down south somewhere.

we all want food in our bellies.
a roof over our heads.
a warm bed.
and a few quid in a tin under that bed.

solitude and safety?
that's a big ask in today's society.
just to be left alone.

oh well.
