Intrigued by the concept
Bought a couple tonight out of curiosity - I do like a shandy, might become a fridge staple if any good

It's a shandy, Tone - that makes it a 5.6% split, which is a fair Marston's brew.
TBH, the tinned lager shandy Bavaria do is 0.9% and I wouldn't drink anything else on a hot day after digging out a garden border. Much maligned but then as you know (we've covered ales before, Tone, we don't drink for the volume, we drink for the experience) we're not swayed by peer pressure.

See, I'm the kid with the lemo and crisps outside the boozer after a 2-0 home win in the 70s, Tone. Shandy is half beer, half happy memory

Not bad. A drink that would appeal to a fucking tourist in Dublin who buys a Guinness and then doesn't know what the fuck to do with it after one sip when they realise it isn't some anodyne shite.
Real beer, softened, basically. Drink cold, a reviver. Not for consumption outside the home.
