This useless cunting country

Couln't organise a piss up in a brewery.
Now hundreds of people have been turned away and can't vote in Manchester and Sheffield as 10pm has arrived and they haven't catered for the numbers.
The election has to be declared null and void imo.

Seriously Bert...they have to fucking hold it again if those people can't vote after arriving in plenty of time!

I wholeheartedly agree, Tony. The point is, though, there are multiple precedents in this county of managing to do something like this.

The NHS census shortly after the war for one, where they had census takers taking the details of every person in Britain, whether they be at home, at work, under a bridge or in territorial waters - we had a man there and he'd take your details.

It was done in one night.

Then you have every other fucking general election in the history of the country. No problem.

Trouble is, the country is now run by fartaround middle managers who could not find their own arseholes with a mirror. And they'd have been the administrators.

Ineptitude everywhere.
It's hard when you're my age and grew up surrounded for the most part by efficiency.

The country currently runs on the ethos of efficiency savings. I had never considered that could mean "cutbacks in efficiency".
