When is it acceptable for a man to cry?

Death of a pet dog NAP. Our first dog died years ago, as I was holding it for the vet. She was old but I sobbed my heart out for a week, I couldn't get over it and when I thought of her, I just broke down. It took me ages to get to grips with it as any dog I have, becomes fully part of the family and not just a pet.

Death of a family member NB, i was knocked sideways when i lost my dad, still dont think ive ever recovered.

As for your question....it's acceptable to cry when you want.
I do it all the time......feel great afterwards.
It's nature's way of getting stress out...in water form.
