omg,
i could be misreading the situation.
not that there IS a situation you understand.
i've been bussing to work,
for quite a few years now,
same place,
same stop,
and dog-walkers,
joggers,
cyclists,
people just passing by,
desperate ones,
dashing behind the bus-stop shelter for a piss,
a seemingly dead badger lying in the middle of the road,
that made a miraculous recovery,
and suddenly got up and returned to the park under cover of darkness.
well,
anyway,
there's this woman who walks two black labs:
nice looking dogs actually,
(well bred,
working types,
i'd wager.)
whom i've seen very occassionally,
she walks up the hill,
in the park opposite,
from wherever,
TO wherever,
and just,
goes.
she will have noticed me at the stop,
obviously,
as i have noticed her,
and her dogs,
nothing odd about that.
but this week,
she has taking to walking up the hill,
as per,
only on my side of the road,
passing my stop,
and "eyeballing"me in the process.
maybe she's just being cautious,
but with those two dogs,
you wouldn't be.
maybe,
well,
scruffy old bugger,
at 6.30.ish in the morning,
and she IS a woman.
her face seems expressionless as our eyes meet for,
what WOULD be,
no more than the blink of an eye.
i don't look at her.
i don't think she's looking at me really.
she lingers only,
put put dog-shit into the rubbish bin,
and she goes.
what's she like?
well,
bleach blonde hair,
very short-cropped.
not unattractive i suppose,
( not living in poverty either )
definitely the "2.4 kids, 2 car" type.
mid to late 40s,
could be 50 maybe.
at a distance she had seemed quite tall and lanky,
i bet she was when she was younger.
and quite slim NOW really.
overall,
not something i'd rave about,
but who knows?
i have no intention of striking up any sort of conversation,
and i hope that she doesn't.
stickie still walks by,
but i'm managing to walk closely behind another ( bloke ) dog-walker,
so she gives him,
and me,
a wide birth.
and life at the stop,
trundles merrily ( well, sort of ) on.
i'm off to morrisons.

Re: you are not going to believe this,
Terrible.
Tooth abscess and my fibromyalgia is the worst it's ever been.
Feels like I've taken a kicking.
