Wind turbine commits suicide

You know if the Scots get independence, the entire country wil develop these on and offshore overnight and the country will be a literal powerhouse in Europe? The whole fucking place is coast and mountains, so high winds with few people nearby. It screams wind power.

I'd be fucking terrified if I were Westminster because if there is an energy crisis brewing and Scotland has a surplus, they'll get to hear the words "Remember the Darien Venture?"

That's the point, though, Tone - Scotland isn't Essex, it's sparsely populated, heather-covered shortbread tin top scenery and miles and miles of coastline. If Mother Nature had built a place to run a wind farm she'd have created Scotland and given the nearby population affected their own proprietary drink as compensation

What about harvesting the waves and in the process stopping coastal erosion?
