apparently,
when you go into their supermarkets,
or maybe selected supermarkets,
i don't know.

shoppers are being confronted by drones,
asking "would you like to take this trolley-mounted scanner with you,and scan your goods as you shop?"

well actually,
no i fuckin wouldn't.

why are they trying to distance themselves from the paying customer?
what is it that they find so unpallatable about "serving people"?

shops have been serving people for years.
what's the problem?

i've always gone to them for my g/f bread.
it IS the best,
for quality,
and value.
but now i'm being driven away.
i shall checkout asda's this week.


i walk past a big tesco supermarket morning and night.
how convenient is that?
but i can't call in on my way home at 6.00. in the morning because there's only self-service checkouts.
and it IS a pain.
