That's how Democracy UK works, Tone. One vote in five years and then the beneficiaries suppress and ignore you for 5 years until they need the next one. Actually, that's not fair. They suppress you for four years and ignore you for five. The last year, they relax the suppression to give you the illusion of some sort of fucking liberty to put the cross in the right box again.

That's why the last parliament put in fixed term legislation. The 2018/2019/2020 calendars already have their campaign milestones on them.
