stickie...... and an olive-green snorkel-parka.

when i got off my bus friday night,
i walked up to the top of the road,
as i do,
there's quite a sharp bend,
with a pavemnt.
it's dark there,
poorly lit.
and you can't see around the corner because of a high hedge.
well,
as i rounded the corner that night,
there was a slim,
slightly built person,
standing there,
giving way to me,
so,
i hurried past,
and said "thank you"as i went.
might've been male OR female,
he/she wore an olive-green parka,
zipped right up to the chin.
i couldn't see the face.

got half way to work and it struck,
"olive-green snorkel-parka!"

stickie? ?

without the dogs?

she wears an olive green snorkel-parka.

oh dear.

she's out every morning,
before day-break,
in all weathers.
walking those dogs.
a proper little street-urchin.
and now,
loitering after dark,
at well,
not a very good place,
next to a big amusement-park,
in totally pitch-black darkness.

again,
