I already have the 1979 Whizzer and Chips Annual, so my Kerplunk is safe...

Tone, Swap Shop involved Edmonds behind a desk (01 811 8055) directing affairs and occasionally linking up to an OB where Keith Chegwin was in a field in a small town suburb ("Keith, where are you this week?" "I normally give clues, Noel, but I'm in fucking Letchworth and I can't thing of a single interesting fact").

It was the alternative to Sally James's epic breasts on Tiswas for kids who were either on Ritalin or whose parents were stockbrokers.
