well,you get what you pay for i suppose.

i bought a cheapo argos food-processor some time ago.
it's NOT old.
couple of months maybe.
anyway,
i put 600gms of minced lamb into it.
added a tablespoon, ish, full of mixed dried mixed herbs,
and one egg.

got it whizzing,
and it started smoking.

i shall have to see about a better one sometime.

if it still works,
i could use it for my toast i suppose.
not sure that i want to now though.

Two months isn't reasonable time for a breakage or fault. I'd say the goods weren't of saleable standard

the mix was quite a lump,
and heavy.

Barely a pound and a quarter, Eric. Not enough to fill a pint pot by volume.

yes but the consistency of the mix WOULD'VE made it heavy going i reckon.

"don't run for more than 30 seconds at a time."
"allow it to cool down between cycles."
