At the risk of sounding a bit harsh, any cider is a bit gay. It's apples and such. Alcohol should be made from some sort of grain or sugar cane, essentially posh grass.

Therefore ales are acceptable, lagers are a bit of a dress-fetish declaration but acceptable, rum, whisky, vodka, acceptable, gin is for girls and if you want fruit in your drink, have a shandy you fucking big girl's blouse.

I do love a shandy, though, Tone...

That's annoying. I don't drink a lot but I do like a late one. Mind you, were I largely resident in Spain, I'd be a late afternoon/evening drinker, a cold one in front of the ubiquitous footy...

I rarely drink lager as I'm not fucking 12 any more but this is proper beer, very drinkable and belies its 6% content. I do seek it out now and again and got a couple in a 4 for £6 offer at Tesco. Took two with two large Estrella Damm, which is also pretty fair.
