a snapshot from my bus-stop.

joggers thunder by,
with a bottle of water.
hot and panting,legs like lead,
flogging themselves,
new age flagellation.

then there are the women,
walking dogs, half asleep,
i imagine them getting home,
feeding their dog,
and climbing back into bed.

there are the young females,
the serious weight-watchers,
marching by,trying to stay slim,ish.
and the one that i think of,
as a real looker.

a long legged six-footer,
head held high,
looking the world in the eye,
she's a proud one alright,
and why not?

denims,and a tanned face,
that might've been sprayed on,
tall,slim,lissome,and such a stride,
she absolutely glides by.
and a long black pony-tail.
a goddess,
what a sight at 6.30 in the morning.

it's quite picturesque right now,
a golden carpet under-foot,
as the trees lose their leaves,
soon it'll be dirty,rotting,sludge,
but for now,it's nice.

life eh?
and people?
interesting.
and life goes on.

was a proper november night last night.
didn't exactly pour down,
more wind than rain,
blustery,
with enough rain to give everywhere a soaking.
it's not cold though.
