Not really a feeling of power to be trawling after other people's kids. There are two possibilities
(i) He gets to use the information against someone. Apart from how much of a nonce that makes him look, these are people on a forum where he's never going to be a member to hold them up like a human shield.
(ii) He gets to meet the person who he has been procuring information on. That'd be nice. Maybe Sandra would lay on some sandwiches.
