Eric go to your local Citizens Advice Service.I dont think they will be open today but will be after holiday.they will give you financial advice and regarding somewhere to live, they can point you in the right direction.

in fact, if they can't help you they know a man who can.

but go to the one that serves your area, because they get the funding to deal with your problem.
they will have a website or it will be in the phone directory.
