I don't suppose the system would work if he didnt have anyone to represent him?

It probably costs a fortune to keep him there anyway , I would put him in a council flat on 24 hour curfew with a tag , give him £65 a week and he could take his chances with the locals.

Its not cost efficient to keep paying for all these halfwits to be kept.

Valid points about the cost Kit, but its a catch 22 scenario imo because if he was to be released the cost would be at least as much as keeping him in prison, take the bulger killers for example.

So, in that case , I would probably like to resort to a Victorian prison model for lifers , instead of a mental hospital with telly, let them have a cell, a bed , a bog and 3 meals , what ever is cheapest , just push 1500 calories through a slot in the door each day
