I was on twitter for about 6 months not long after it started. Something new and all that. I used it to gauge the reaction to one liners etc, and by the end I had around 4000 followers. You soon get bored of it though, so after that I deleted myself and set up an account for my dog, and used to tweet stuff like "Where's my dinner? Where's my dinner? Where's my dinner? Where's my dinner? Where's my dinner?" and by the finish she had over 10,000 followers. In the end I came to the conclusion that twitter is even more pointless than a broken pencil.
