If you're thinking in Dutch, that's half the battle, She. You aren't actually thinking in Dutch, you're thinking in English but translating that quickly that you miss the English. DO NOT THINK THIS CONCEPT THROUGH AS IT DESTROYS THE EFFECT.

I was immersed in Portuguese so deeply at one time that I had to re-educate myself in responding in English over a lengthy train ride. Oddly, I spent the end of that train journey speaking French to a bloke who was speaking English to me.
