Eric, even without going into the arguments, look at how the responses go.

They talk of reputation - abstract noun, means fuck all. Performance, for example, is not measured on reputation. It's measured on what you do, not the perception of some fucking mythical third party

They talk of negotiating and in the same breath, amending strike legislation - hang on, if you could do the first, you wouldn't have to mention the second. Fact is, you're not interested in (i) and are happy to arserape several million people in the country because you want to not only preserve their penury (yes, it's penury) but add to it.

They talk of "taxpayers" when covering civil servants without pointing out that if civil servants aren't within these "taxpayers", it's because their pay is so fucking low.

They talk of "parents" filling in at school which is (i) slavery and (ii) a huge statement that teachers are somehow fucking sterile and don't have kids of their own.

The fact is, everything they batter on about is everything but the issue in hand. If Michael Gove wants an enduring image or soundbite, he can meet me with a cameraman and film crew and I'll fucking chin him the first time he goes off topic. Abdul, what's the spread for that in seconds?
