Olympics Test Event

Horseguards Parade (just round the corner from my desk) is closed from 18th July to 17th August for a womens world cup beach volleyball competition

Runs from 9-14 Aug with the courts being knocked up from this week, I shall pop along for a ganders at lunchtimes I think and maybe catch an evening match.

I must have missed the fucking coast in the middle of the city when I went to London last

i think i stayed in a hotel not far from there when i had a couple of nights in london some time ago.

so you're not perma-chained to the bunker then?

horseguards parade is closed from 18/7 to 17/8, i guess they will start building the beach next week sometime, seagulls are already there in anticipation...
