then i met somebody very'very similar.

when you're a bloke in your 30s,

never with a female.
people notice,
and that's how rumours start.

latching onto her,
killed the rumours.

a bit like closet gays,
getting married to be seen as straight.

going with her,
made it okay not to go after other young women.
