well,weekend is almost upon us and,,,,,,

i really don't care.
well yes,
of course i welcome a couple of days off but,
there's no anticipation,
no looking forward to;
cheap cider,
betting,
nothing.

i have no cider,
will probably have a play somewhere,
but really not bothered.

might just sit around and look at telly,
if lardthing doesn't take up residence in the living-room first.
we'll see.

Doing my first ever BBQ in the month of October tomorrow(as far as i can remember anyway)
Family round tomorrow for lunch and a few drinks and then a party for my daughter on Sunday.
Cant believe she is 3 already.
Work most weekends so looking forward to a well deserved break.

I havnt been to fengate for ages.
I rembember going a few years ago and saw a little pup do a trial.
Blew me away and coudnt wait for her first race.
Backed her from 11/4 into evens and had one of my biggest wins ever.
The bitch was Roxholme Girl and she turned out to be a superstar.

Cant see me running the pup their eric as the distances wont suit.

Lovely when im not at work in this weather but a bloody killer when i am.
Yesterday i was working on a medium pressure main and had to wear trousers and a sweatshirt with a full fire/boilersuit on top gloves boots hard hat and safety glasses.
Thought i was gonna pass out.

I was going well today, but the 550 bumper cost me 250 and almost all the days takings

it's a bugger ain' it.
gutted or what?
can't take your eye off the ball for a minute.

i think i can get myself back.
but if i do it the hard way,
i might just learn from it.
