there isn't a sainsbury's store in my town.

You're supposed to be able to get regular carrots as well, Eric, which occur in no end of colours. The orange is unnatural, a hybrid developed by the Dutch.

yeah,
originally white weren't they?
but those purple spuds contain compounds that are found in blueberries,
and other goodies.

Surely its better to just eat blueberries and keep a potato like a potato. I'm not a fan of genetic engineering tbh eric

It's not GM engineered, BOAT. It's a successful hybrid (I don't think GM spuds are allowed on the UK market and into the UK food chain because they'd be too difficult to police and would be too common to be a "tester") that can't grow everywhere but can grow in Scotland.
