Arsehole government
Here's what happens.
At 10am 03/11, a ballot of 1.1m Unison members closes over strike action.
24 hours previously, Danny Alexander produces some sort of shit-in-a-bag and says "here's a pensions offer that could last a thousand years" that Brendan Barber takes one look at and says "Fuck off, you're taking the piss". Slaphead Dave the Millionaire says it's very fair, what with the more money taken from you to work longer and take less when you finally do get out the game.
At around 2pm onwards, the result comes in. resounding win, biggest strike in the history of this country in the offing.
10.35pm - Question Time, hosted by the Oxbridge-riddled government suckups at the BBC
Where would you hold it and who would you have on it?
You'd go to a big city, urban centre (Sheffield, Manchester, Glasgow, Liverpool maybe) where you'll have a cross section of everything from chinless wonders to public sector workers but a lot of the latter because they're the news of the day.
On the panel you'll have Francis fucking Maude, any of Labour's interchangeable heads on a suit, some moderate journalist or broadcaster and Dave Prentis or another major union leader.
No. The trouble with that was when there was a huge strike in June, the cabinet were nowhere to be seen. They shit their pants and that evening the government stated that there was no spokesman available at all. A union leader would precipitate a walkout of anyone who might have to go head to head.
They held it actually in parliament. Not somewhere where the average Joe goes, of course. And they had Shirley Williams (coalition apologist), Theresa May (without her cat), Ed Balls (fuck me...) Peter Hitchens (you know, Hitler had lovely eyes) and Benjamin Zephaniah (we need someone who'll moderate the other four fucking evil wastrels and who'll suit for token puposes).
Biggest day in union election history and no representative on. Fucking cowards

Cause and effect, this, Tone.
The ballot, massive news when all said and done as 3m will down tools on 30th November, made fourth item on the news today after Greece, test match no balls and a shooting at a funeral "we think".
The BBC have a raft of millionaire cabinet bellends saying "ooh, they shouldn't strike, it's a nice offer". 250,000 Unison members said "fuck off, you're shit" and the BBC went back to Francis Maude who went for his usual "disappointed" and "turnout was low" forgetting that he would struggle to find a venue to fit them all and if he allowed workplace ballots, that could be trebled
Theresa May thinks it's a bad idea. 3 million don't. Who gets the airtime?

I have no interest whatsoever in politics any longer.
I want a bloody revolution....and quick.

Thomas Jefferson once said "He who reads nothing at all is often better informed than he who reads the popular press"
I'm sure he'd have included television if it had been around then.

Re: Arsehole government
Killer Duncan Smith resigned because of the cuts.
That would be so much more plausible if he'd resigned at the outset of the programme instead of presiding over and defending cuts that have already killed thousands.
Referendum on the EU, anyone?
