WOMEN!

i've been here before.
there's a pattern emerging.

get chatting to woman at bus stop.
saying hello every morning,
smillie,happy,chatty.
then suddenly,out of the blue,
she's not speaking,then she is,
then she isn't,
followed by total silence.
and disappears.
and i'm thinking "WHAT FFS?".
i can hardly demand to know why.

maybe,like me,
she's regreting that we ever got talking,
i have to take responsibility for that.
she's never gonna tell me that.
nor i her.

now,
we carry on feeling uncomfortable with each other,
until one of us goes another way.
i can't,she knows that i must catch that bus.
so,
not wanting to make her take her dogs some place else,
i shall just hold back until she has passed my stop.
i have time on my hands,
and can easily do this.

and if another woman ever speaks to me at the bus-stop,
i shall probably ask her in the nicest possible way,
to just fuck off.

i mean it now,
i've had with them.

and yup!
