Just saw a seagull die
I was looking out of the window across the meadow...there were about a dozen of them circling when one just suddenly fell to the ground. He twitched a couple of times and was then still.
He's still there now but a couple of magpies are now taking an interest. The gulls mates have all legged it.
Not something you see every day!

I often wonder where all the dead birds go, not roadkill but those who just die of natural causes and old age

Their ghosts go to the Goldstone Ground and shake their heads at "progress"
