How much do you drink in a normal session?

I have 2 bottles of real ale and finish off with a double malt.

I don't feel the benefit after drinking upwards of four, but if I were having a tasting session, up to and including four real ales would be acceptable.

I'll drink rum until I slur. Don't do it often, last time was out of solidarity watching Fire In Babylon.

Same here bert, 30 years ago i could drink maybe 3 times more than i can now

That's just it, though, BOAT. I don't want to drink more. The soft buzz of a real ale is a nice bonus but frankly, I drink it because it's pleasant.

If I wanted to get hammered, I'd drink lager. Cold, thin on taste and a kick to it. I could drink Carling all day, for example, the archetypal cooking lager, but I couldn't envisage why I'd want to.

for the taste and the feel of where a litre puts me mentally.

it's so nice perusing the inplay coupon on a sunday morning with that ever so faint fuzziness going on.

Up to 10 pints is a very steady session. Up to 20 pints is a good day session.
Over 20 and it's blind time.

I was on Carbamazepine and after a pint of pale ale i felt as though i was being anesthetized , maybe some meds react to increase the effect of alcohol
